B&A Gives Back

On September 5th, eight of our team members partnered with Kids Against Hunger United in Broomall, PA to assemble meals.  Our team portioned, measured and packaged 3,888 meals in no time! We worked quickly and efficiently as a team and enjoyed the ability to work together in person to make a difference.  Kids Against Hunger United is a non-profit humanitarian organization with a mission to feed the hungry through food sharing, advocacy and community engagement. They provide fully nutritious food to impoverished children, individuals and families around the world and around the corner. Their goal is to fight hunger and food insecurity, whether through Meal Packs shipped around the world, or providing food through their local Food Pantry for families in the community.

In April, one of our team members partnered with the University of Montana’s Woodsman Team to assist with event timing during their annual Forestry Days competition.  The UM Woodsman Team is a co-ed, competitive team that practices field forestry skills and emulates traditional logging techniques in a competitive format.  Events include cross-cut sawing, wood chopping, pole climbing, axe throwing, log rolling and hot Saws.
